Day 3 and I'm back on track. Tonight I signed up for a fit ball class, the idea being it's something a bit different and will help me build up core strength.
It started off easy with a light warm up that involved getting moving with some steps whilst lifting the ball up in the air (which quickly went from light-as-air balloon to a heavy rock thanks to my puny upper body strength).
Lots of balancing bits of my body on the ball whilst doing fairly standard aerobics/yoga moves. This was pretty good because as I wobbled around like a drunk trying to rollerskate I could feel all of my muscles screaming at me individually.
So fun, hard work, and good class for core stability and strength!
