I've started swigging green tea after coming across mention online of it's many potential benefits. Whilst this feels a little overstated, I'm sure that adding a cup of green tea after lunch cannot be a bad thing, and might even have a positive effect on my health (the NHS, after some buzz killing statements, tend to agree). Unfortunately I got a bit excited this morning and had a cup mid morning, a few hours after the green smoothie I made first thing (on my funky new Breville blend-active). I quickly discovered that slightly stewed green tea on an empty stomach... IS A DISASTER. It was all I could do not to throw up on the table in the middle of our weekly team meeting. I had to spend about an hour sipping ice cold water and practicing my yoga deep breathing in order to suppress the urge to hurl.
My evening classes were great. Fit ball was very challenging and pilates was a lovely way to round up the day. I've got to be honest, after the other classes I find pilates a little soft core, but it's definately doing something (is not in such a sweaty way).
