300k steps in July - Day 4 & 5

  • Steps: 9,237 on Fri, 13,000 on Sat (241,550 to go)
  • Exercise: Walking (up and down Yorkshire dales)
It's the beginning of the holiday and we've spent the day on the Yorkshire moors waiting for the tour. I was a squeak short of target on Friday, but at the walking I did do was over the moor and therefore bloody hard work then I'll let myself off. I more than made up for it with all the slogging around today.

My next trick is to make sure you tell people your challenge, and ask them to help you reach your target. My other half was more than happy to go on a bleak and difficult walk up and down a big hill to get in some steps on Friday evening.
